Climb Like a Boss

Extraordinary Lives

Our flagship project, in partnership with the Mail & Guardian, is a biographical series celebrating the lives of people who have made the world more colourful.

A four-part series designed to help you improve your climbing skills. After listening to the series you won’t be able to challenge Chris Froome but at least you’ll get to the top of a hill before your mates. The four episodes look at mental approach, power-to-weight ratio, techniques and tips, and the role of weight in climbing (and a tasty discussion about to carb or not to carb).  In studio are Dr Jeroen Swart, a sports physician, exercise physiologist and climbing fiend, and Bicycling editor Mike Finch.

AmaBookaBooka

A quirky, fast-moving show with an author that contains a brief intro about South African and international authors, a book reading, snappy interview and ends with a "sound effects Rorschach test".  It's available as a video and podcast.

ABSA Cape Epic

In this series we bring three guinea pigs into our pedal stroke laboratory and ask them about their goals for the 2015 Cape Town Cycle Tour. We ask sports scientist and cycling coach Ben Capostagno to analyse their training plans and reveal if they are on the right track.
